What is progressive die stamping?

Progressive die stamping moves metal through a series of stations in a single press stroke, with each station performing a different operation. It's typically used for higher-volume production where consistent, repeatable parts are needed.

Stamping is most cost-effective at higher volumes due to tooling costs. For prototypes or low volumes, laser cutting or bending may be more economical — tell us your quantity and we'll recommend the best process.
